Breathing technique Every Entrepreneur (and Mom) Should Know

Why Your Breath Matters

Breath work Exercises are powerful. Recently I was invited to speak at an Entrepreneur Lunch-In for Georgeous Business Solutions. My topic was the power of breathing. It was hard to capture this vast subject in under 10 minutes but I want to share some fascinating facts—and a follow-along video—so you can experience the benefits yourself. 90 percent of participants saw a reduction in stress.

Why Your Breath Matters

Learning how to breathe efficiently can transform your health and well-being:

Learning how to breathe efficiently can transform your health and well-being:

  • Boosts your energy and circulation

  • Slows heart rate and lowers blood pressure

  • Relieves body tension and reduces stress

  • Improves cardiovascular endurance when breathing through your nose

  • Helps your body detox and sweat more effectively

  • Supports clearer thinking and better decision-making

The Cost of Inefficient Breathing

On the other hand, poor breathing habits can:

  • Increase neck, shoulder, and back tension

  • Lower your immunity, making you more prone to illness

  • Cause facial hollowing and sunken eyes

  • Contribute to pelvic floor pain or dysfunction

  • Heighten anxiety and stress

  • Dry out your mouth and increase snoring, disrupting sleep

Who I Work With

Many of my clients are postpartum mothers or individuals struggling with chronic pain—sometimes both. By teaching them healthier breathing patterns, they experience:

  • Less stress and pain

  • Better tolerance for exercise and stretching

  • Increased core strength and stability

  • Visible changes in their abdominal wall and physique

Why Practice Breathwork?

You may think, “I already know how to breathe.” But have you tried different breathing techniques consistently enough to notice real changes?

Regular breathwork can:

  • Help your body manage stress more effectively

  • Protect against spikes in blood pressure (important since heart disease is the #1 killer in America)

  • Improve sleep, recovery, and overall resilience
